These three novellas are about witches through the last 40 years. Lackey revisits Diana Tregarde as she begins Harvard in about 1970 and gets a case with a phony psychic and a child kidnapping. The second story revisits Jennifer Talldeer as she deals with a Native American ghost who is out for revenge. The final story is current and introduces a new character. This one is a techno-shaman who has to get an evil Ojibwe god out of the computer game he is inhabiting before he figures out how to get out into the real world himself. All three were entertaining stories.
