Owen Sweetwater is a member of the famous, secretive Sweetwater family. He is looking for the proper mate to keep his psychic talents from making him insane and decides Virginia is the one. Unfortunately, Virginia has drawn the attention of someone else who wants her psychic powers and Owen has to keep her safe. Typical, enjoyable story by Amanda Quick with strong, independent women and the alpha males who need them.
