Three plot threads -- the team is on the hunt for a serial killer who turns out to be Ted Bundy's daughter; Lucy Carlyle and Cooper McKnight fall in love despite his playboy reputation; Lucy's father dies but says before he passes away that he saw his mother kill his father. Lucy moves into the family house to try to investigate and discovers a magic ring that lets the holder (if the holder is the right person) redo the last 8 seconds of time. Also Savich is trying to figure out who is trying to kill an elderly convenience store owner. Exciting thriller!
