Savannah Levine has lost her powers but still needs to investigate some strange occurrences in the supernatural world. It seems that some supernaturals want to start a Supernatural Liberation Movement and fight for their right to rule over all humanity. It also looks like the demons are divided into factions over the issue too. Savannah and her best friend (and how she wishes he were her boyfriend) Adam investigate along with Paige and Lucas, Sean, Jeremy and Jaime, Elena and Clay. This was exciting and it was wonderful to see so many characters from earlier books.
