Please note that this story does not stand alone well. It needs Volume 1 to make sense.Mercy, Adam and Sam return to the Tri-Cities to try to rescue Jesse and figure out why the werewolves are doing what they do. Adam is worried that there is a traitor in his pack. Mercy has to deal with the vampires for information. And there is lots of werewolf politics too. There is a lot of story to fit into this novel and sometimes the pacing felt a little bit rushed. The pictures were very well done though.
